Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of TouchSomeGrass (the "app"), published under package com.eem.touchsomegrass. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. What the app is

TouchSomeGrass lets you set daily time limits for chosen apps and, when you exceed one, shows you a satirical "roast" screen and a short friction challenge before letting you continue. It is a self-imposed habit tool — you choose which apps to track and what limits to set, and you can change or turn off tracking at any time from Settings.

2. Tone and content

The app's roast copy, memes, and tier escalation are written to be blunt, sarcastic, and occasionally absurd on purpose — that's the mechanic, not a bug. By using the app you're opting into that tone directed at your own phone habits. Meme content shown on the wall may be fetched from a third-party GIF provider (see the Privacy Policy) or drawn locally by the app; either way it's presented for comic effect, not as factual commentary about you.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app except as permitted by law.
• Use the app to violate any applicable law or third party's rights.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to any service the app connects to.
• Redistribute or resell the app or its content.

5. Permissions

The app requests device permissions (usage access, display-over-apps, camera, notifications) strictly to run its core features, all described in the Privacy Policy. Denying an optional permission (like camera) disables only the feature that needs it — the rest of the app keeps working.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will actually change your phone habits — that part's still on you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TouchSomeGrass is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

8. Third-party services

The app fetches meme GIFs from a third-party provider (Klipy). Your use of that content is also subject to that provider's own terms. We're not responsible for third-party service outages or content changes; the app degrades gracefully to built-in content when the network or provider is unavailable.

9. Age requirement

You must meet the minimum age required by your app store or local law to use apps that request the permissions this one does (generally 13+, per Google Play's policies). If you're installing this for a device used by someone younger, you're responsible for that decision.

10. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or modify the app at any time; since there's no account or server-side data, discontinuation doesn't affect any data of yours beyond what's already local to your device.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally; we'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
